00:19The UST Growling Tigers are officially in their winning era after making a triumphant return to the Final Four phase of the UWAP Men's Basketball Tournament.
00:29The Tigers dominated the Adamson-Sorin Falcons 75-49 in their crucial matchup this past weekend at the Phil Oil Center in San Juan.
00:39Rookie Emil Asido led the way with 14 points on 4 out of 5 shooting from long distance.
00:46They gave me a chance. I gave it my all. I dedicate this game to them, my coaches, and my seniors. I didn't want this to be their last game.
01:01UST Head Coach Pido Jarencio also gave credit to veteran floor general Fortsky Padrigao, believing that the point guard's championship experience made a huge difference in the improvement of the Hispania-based squad.
01:14The only veteran winner here is Fortsky. He made it to the finals, to the championship, and he had the best experience.
01:24Which is related to Nick and Amiel, the players here in the UST. I'm so thankful that Fortsky is here with us.
01:34We're not stopping here because we've already won the Final Four. It's great to be here with my teammates.
01:44Now there's only one spot left in the UWAP Final Four. The UE Red Warriors will face second seed UP Fighting Maroons on Wednesday in an all-important season ender.
01:55Should the Red Warriors win, they will enter the Final Four. But if UP wins, Adamson will have an opportunity to tie UE's record, forcing a play-in game.
