00:00For the first time in five years, the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers will play again in the final four of the UAAP Men's Basketball.

00:10Because of that, there's only one place left and it will be fought by the Adamson Soaring Falcons and the University of the East Red Warriors.

00:18That's the story of teammate Rafael Bandayrel.

00:24The UST Growling Tigers are known as the perennial contenders of the UAAP.

00:29Almost every year, the Tigers are always on the hunt for the title.

00:33But since Season 84, at the end of the standings, the Tumasino's campaign ended.

00:38Now, Season 87, the wind has changed.

00:42Because of the first time in five years, they came back to the playoffs of the league.

00:48Last Saturday in the Philoil Arena in San Juan, the UST proved that the days of growling are over.

00:53The Tigers defeated the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 75-49, led by the rookie, Amiel Asido.

01:02The 6'3 forward scored 14 points, bringing his hot 4-out-of-5 shooting to the 3-point line.

01:09They gave me a chance. I gave it my all.

01:13I'm dedicating this game to them, to my coaches, and to my seniors.

01:20I didn't want this to be their last game.

01:24For Coach Pidoharencio, the championship experience brought by their new floor general, Fortski Padrigao, is also a big part of the improvement of Coponan.

01:34The only veteran winner here is Fortski.

01:38He made it to the finals, to the championship, and then his experience, the vast experience that Fortski has,

01:45which is related to Nick, to Amiel, to the players here in the UST.

01:51I'm so thankful that Fortski is here with us.

01:54We're not just stopping here because we got to the Final Four.

02:00But it's good to be with these guys, my teammates. It's good to fight with these guys.

02:05Because of that, only one place is left in the Final Four of the UWAP Men's Basketball.

02:11On Wednesday, the U.E. Red Warriors will be able to remove the U.P. Fighting Maroons from the 2nd seed.

02:16And if they succeed, they will be the ones remaining.

02:19But if the U.P. wins, Adamson will have a chance to force a play-in game against the U.E.

02:27To find out which of the two Coponans will complete the Final Four cast.
