00:04several sports events were canceled to ensure the safety of players, coaches, and officials.

00:11The World Cicada and Brotherhood Philippines announced

00:14that the 61st National Tournament in General Trias, Cavite has been postponed.

00:21The Great UP Run 2024 was also canceled.

00:25In a Facebook post by the organization,

00:28it announced that the new schedule of the run event will be held on November 23,

00:35while the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, or UAAP,

00:39has already confirmed the postponement of several games,

00:42such as chess, table tennis, collegiate football, high school volleyball,

00:47collegiate beach volleyball, and junior high school basketball.

00:51As of now, there are no details as to when the new schedule of high school and collegiate games will be held.
