In Hungarian folklore Saint Martin’s Day on November 11 signaled the end of agricultural work and the coming of advent, while doubling as the last feast day before a 40-day fast. 00:07singer but the fastest goose in northern Hungary. She is the reigning queen of the

00:14goose races. You can see her right here. Those races have been going on for the

00:19past 10 years and Lady Gaga has won three years in a row making her a true

00:25champion. Now these races are all part of Hungary's St. Martin's Day

00:30celebrations, a European tradition that has a special meaning here. All across

00:35the country people gather in November to enjoy great wine and delicious goose

00:41dishes. Oh my god, I shouldn't have said that in front of Lady Gaga. She's giving

00:48me a look. She's not thrilled with the menu. Now these festivities are the lead
