07:50And if I remember correctly, Professor Tung, the color of the face symbolizes or signifies,

07:57I would say, an attitude, an expression, perhaps, a feeling, anger, sorrow, getting ready to

08:05get into a fight.

08:07Or a male or female in Peking opera's tradition.

08:12And back in the past, usually an actor must be a man.

08:18Nowadays, with the reforms, this is 1949, women can be actors or performers in a Peking

08:26opera piece like this.
