00:25The elections are over and the American people have spoken.

00:37The former President Donald Trump will be the next President of the United States of

00:42America and House Democrats have fallen a few seats short of reclaiming the majority.

00:49House Democrats in the new Congress will work to find bipartisan common ground whenever

00:55and wherever possible with the incoming administration in a manner consistent with our values but

01:03at the same time always push back whenever necessary against far-right extremism that

01:13will hurt the American people.

01:16The President Trump has made his selections, has made his picks, and I think the Senate

01:20should do everything they possibly can to approve those and to nominate them and get

01:25them through the confirmation process.

01:27Simple.

01:28Plain and simple.

01:29Do you think there's going to be more unity among House Republicans next Congress?

01:33I do.

01:34I believe.

01:35I believe we have the leader of our party, the mandate, you've heard these words over

01:39the last, what, ten days now since the election.

01:41So I think there's a lot of people, there's a lot of Republicans in our conference that

01:45truly understand if it weren't for Donald Trump we probably wouldn't still have the

01:49gavel.

01:51I think we could have lost the House, we would have lost the House, the Senate would have

01:54been very, very difficult without having Donald J. Trump at the top of the ticket.

01:57So we owe it all, Congress, both chambers owe it all to Donald J. Trump.

02:03So now let's just go out there and accomplish his goals and objectives, whatever they are.

02:09And in this instance, the confirmation process, the Senate has a constitutional requirement

02:14for advice and consent.

02:16And I think it's important for them to have all critical information that they need to

02:20make an intelligent decision on that basis.

02:22You might support sharing this with the Senate?

02:26I certainly don't, I certainly understand why they want the information.

02:30I'll say it that way.

02:31Do you trust RFK Jr. on public health?

02:34Absolutely.

02:35I'm an organic gardener, I own a farm, 60 acres, I mean Roger Williams' drain field

02:41is bigger than my farm, but we don't use any chemicals on it.

02:44I think we really should address that.

02:46I think big pharma, big food are literally killing people.

02:52What are you asking about vaccines and their impact?

02:55Well, he's not going to have a final say over it.

02:58There is a process that's done.

03:00So what would the House and the Senate be able to do?

03:03Well, of course, if we had some guts, we would control their funding.

03:08And if they get out of line, we cut those departments.

03:13Well, the entire government is going to serve him and him alone.

03:17It's not going to serve the country.

03:19You know, he's already talked about basically purging the Department of Defense of anyone

03:25who's not loyal.

03:26That seems to be the number one biggest priority.

03:30Okay, I mean, Donald Trump told us for four years what he was going to do, and he's doing

03:34it.

03:35Of course they're not doing background checks.

03:36Look, I mean, part of the reason they can move so fast is they've got the easiest vetting

03:41process in the world right now, which is it consists of one question.

03:44Will you be absolutely loyal to Donald Trump and do whatever he asks you to do when he

03:50asks you to do it?

03:51And if the answer is yes, you're vetted.
