00:00A woman was killed Wednesday morning near Bukit Tengah when a container being transported

00:12on a trailer lorry toppled and crushed her car.

00:16The victim, identified as 21-year-old Liji Roll, was pronounced dead at the scene.

00:21It is believed that she was waiting at the traffic lights at Jalan Kebun Sire Jalan Bukit

00:26Tengah when the lorry, approaching from the opposite direction, made a sharp left turn.

00:32This reportedly caused the container to overbalance, detach and fall onto her car during the 9.15am

00:39incident.

00:40Li was alone in the car and reportedly on her way to work.

00:44The accident temporarily blocked both lanes of the road and several other vehicles were

00:48also damaged.

00:50The driver, 25-year-old Tancho Teng, sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital after

00:56being rescued by passers-by before emergency responders arrived.

01:01Police are investigating the incident.
