00:00The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office has once again issued a red alert

00:05to monitor any incidents and the effects of the new typhoons.

00:09Janice Dennis of PTV Cordillera has a report.

00:15The victims of the typhoon in Cordillera have not yet recovered.

00:20The typhoon Nica has already cut off.

00:23The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office has once again issued a red alert

00:30to monitor any incidents and the effects of the new typhoons.

00:35According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development,

00:39more than 100 individuals from seven barangays have already evacuated to the evacuation center.

00:48The DSWD continues to distribute aid to the affected by the typhoon.

00:54More than P5 million was given to the affected by the typhoon.

01:00They also sent relief packs to the affected in Cagayan.

01:05We continuously provide food and non-food items to the affected.

01:12We have already delivered P3,000 family food packs.

01:18The DSWD has also announced that the aid that will be given to the affected by the typhoon is sufficient.

01:25Their quick response team is also active in responding to the effects of the typhoon Nica.

01:31We still have P35,000 family food packs to be distributed to all the provinces.

01:39If they also monitor that our stockpile is declining,

01:43they will also send augmentation to the affected.

01:47Meanwhile, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources

01:52has closed all protected areas in the region,

01:55such as Mount Pulag, Banao Protected Landscape, Marcos Highway Forest Reserve, and others.

02:01In monitoring of the DPWH Cordillera,

02:05all the main national roads in Cordillera are open to motorists,

02:11even though there are roads that are closed due to soil collapse and landslides.

02:16These include some road sections in Apayau-Ilocos-Norte Road,

02:20Claveria-Calanasan-Cabugao Road, Apayau-Calanasan-Ilocos-Norte Road,

02:26Pagudbud-Adams-Calanasan Road, and Banawe-Hunduan-Binguet Road.

02:31The Office of Civil Defense is again concerned about the public's safety.

02:35They also ordered the pre-emptive evacuation of residents in dangerous areas.

02:42First, we should avoid going out of our homes, which is not important.

02:46We should also avoid traveling,

02:49because the clearing of our roads is still ongoing.
