00:17How many times have you seen a game in your life where a guy throws five picks and they

00:22Not often.

00:23And last night's game reminded me of a Ryan Fitzpatrick game with the New York Jets against

00:29the Kansas City Chiefs, and I'm sure Jet fans will remember this game.

00:34Turned out it was 2016, we actually looked it up.

00:37That was the most interceptions I ever saw in a game that I can remember, Scott, six.

00:42So Goff got to five.

00:44I went over the list last night.

00:46You'd be surprised.

00:47There were some pretty good quarterbacks that actually had thrown six interceptions.

00:50Joe Namath had thrown six picks in a game, Kenny Stabler, Steve DeBerg.

00:56There was a long list, but it's not a list you really want to be on, but they found a

01:03They found a way when it was all said and done.

01:05They dug down deep.

01:06They didn't quit.

01:07They were plus 500 at halftime, Scott.

01:10That's what the line was.

01:11It was plus 500 on the money line, the Detroit Lions.

01:15They ended up coming back and winning the football game.

01:19And that's the side of a great team, isn't it?

01:21When you don't play well, when one of your stars or a couple of guys are off and it's

01:26not going your way, and you still find a way to win the football game.

01:30And Bates is one guy, Scott, that I knew all about, because I'm a, I'm hardcore.

01:36And you can say I'm a hardcore professional.

01:38I like to be prepared.

01:39Or you can say I'm a hardcore degenerate gambler who bets on everything and watches everything.

01:44But I soak up all that XFL stuff and all that UFL stuff.

01:48So I knew all about Bates with the Michigan Panthers.

01:51And I mean, dude, he hit like a 66 yarder in the UFL.

01:55That's what sort of got people's attention.

01:57But he followed that up, Scott, with like, you know, just consistently 62, 58, 56.

02:03Like he rarely missed.

02:04I remember he missed once like a 47 yarder in the UFL and everyone was shocked.

02:09And I remember saying at the time, okay, that's really cool.

02:12You're doing it in an empty stadium.

02:14You know what I mean?

02:15In the UFL, there's no pressure.

02:17Let's see you do it in the NFL.

02:19Well, he did in the NFL, bro, 58 yards, game on the line.

02:22I mean, this, this guy's unbelievable.

02:25I guess he's played soccer his whole life and he's got quite the leg.
