00:00Jaime Santos will order the immediate evacuation of the barangays that will be flooded by floods and landslides due to the Nica earthquake.

00:11In anticipation of a landfall in Aurora or Isabela of the Nica earthquake this morning or tomorrow afternoon,

00:17Pag-asa said that it is expected that the areas that were also hit by the Christine, Marseille and Leon earthquakes will be swept away.

00:24It is estimated that up to 700 millimeters of rain will reach that area between Monday 8 a.m. until Saturday evening.

00:37So with the saturation of Marseille and Christine before that and Leon, the land there is already wet and the possibilities of landslides are very high.

00:49According to DILG Secretary John V. Cremulia, the mayors and governors in Region 1, 2 and Cordillera Administrative Region

00:59ordered the evacuation of the residents of 2,500 barangays that are flood-prone and landslide-prone areas.

01:07They already have 16 hours to evacuate.

01:11DNR has identified the barangays most prone to landslides and floods and the response should be immediate.

01:20DILG assured that the agencies and primary needs and assets will provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake.

01:29And while the Nica earthquake is expected, two more earthquakes are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility called Ophel and Pepito.

01:38The problem is that this will be a 10-day event starting from Friday to Monday next week.
