here today to talk about the filming back in June of the latest Celebrity Antiques road trip
00:10
which we played host to where Paul and Harry were the celebrities and Anita Raskin-Sharpe and Ru
00:19
Irvine were the experts. So I think this is the seventh time we've done this. You know there's
00:27
not hundreds of antique shops in the north of Scotland so I guess them having tried us we've
00:33
managed to secure our place on their map and I think we treat them rather well. They enjoy coming
00:41
here, they always seem to buy a lot and we look forward to welcoming them back and it's good for
00:51
them and it's certainly good for us. This was the first celebrity one that we had. Normally it's just
00:57
the two experts come round and they're competing against each other. This time it was the celebrities
01:03
and I think the fact that it was the two lads from The Traitors who in themselves have made
01:09
themselves a bit of a career having you know appeared on The Traitors. I was really
01:18
pleased to see them because I knew it would be good fun and it was good fun and I think when
01:23
it's aired they will just continue to build their media profile up and you know I think those
01:32
two lads are the ant and deck of the future. They were great, they knew nothing about antiques, absolutely
01:36
nothing, they didn't know anything about what they wanted to buy. Their naivety was so refreshing
01:43
and you know we turned it into a little bit of an adventure for them really.
01:50
You know without doubt they're two competitive lads you know both in The Traitors and that was
01:57
carried through to their their exploits in the antique shop. Harry liked jewellery, gold and silver
02:05
things. Paul liked pieces of porcelain and furniture. I think it's good for putting the
02:12
Highlands on the map, I think it's very important.
