China's Eastern Coast, Shanghai, Brace for Typhoon Kong-Rey

Emergency warnings have been issued along China's east coast as Typhoon Kong-rey barrels towards the country.   Forecasters have predicted the storm could bring the worst rains in 40 years to financial hub Shanghai.

00:22China's national forecasters have also issued rainstorm warnings for parts of its southeastern

00:26and eastern provinces, including Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangsu.

00:30Ferry and train routes there have been suspended.
