After Typhoon Kong-rey, the biggest storm to hit Taiwan in nearly three decades, businesses in northeastern Yilan are predicting a weeklong recovery period.

00:14But there's not much business today after the storm downed trees and caused flooding

00:18in the northeast county.

00:20The market manager says many store owners are busy cleaning up their businesses.

00:24There are many shops that are closed today, but they are still cleaning up and taking

00:31care of their stalls.

00:32There's no problem inside.

00:33It's just that there's a lot of wind and rain outside, and some tents are blown away.

00:43And many store owners are worried that business won't return to normal for a while.

00:47In my experience, it takes about a week for a typhoon to come.

00:53And there are three typhoons in such a short period of time.

00:57It's not easy for the typhoon to come.
