02:53and that's not to say he's a bad football player.

02:58If you had to make the decision today, clearly, John, if he

03:01comes back and he's playing on Sunday night against the Houston

03:03Texans and he catches six balls for 150 yards and two touchdowns

03:08and that ends up setting the tone for the rest of the season.

03:11He has a big playoff game.

03:12Maybe it's a wild card round or an NFC title game.

03:15He was off to a hot start last year in the NFC title game.

03:17Then, of course, the reality is the Lions deadline would be at

03:20the end of that season and then you probably pick up the fifth

03:23option, but the question is asked today on October 31st.

07:47But the team sounds like you're kicking him out.

07:48The reason the reason the rookie deal was put in place, the

07:51way the rookie contracts changed 10, 12 years ago in the NFL

07:55is it gives the teams way more control.

07:57It doesn't financially strapping the lines have.
