00:15The effects of the storm in the Cordillera region are already felt.

00:20That's why only a few people are visiting public cemeteries like this one in Baguio City.

00:37That's why residents of Cordillera will still be able to experience the rain and wind of the storm

00:43until the very end due to the effects of the storm.

00:46The effects of the storm are still felt until November 1.

00:53The Cordillera Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office is now on a red alert

00:59due to the storm and the 2024 storm.

01:02The Office of Civil Defense ordered the local government to conduct preemptive evacuation

01:09especially in landslides and flood-prone areas.

01:13We saw that our colleagues in the Cordillera Regional DRM Council are already having prepositioning activities.

01:20What we are working on now is to alert all our assets and personnel to react to the possible effects of the storm.

01:27The Cordillera Regional Police Office is now on a heightened alert for the upcoming floods

01:33and is on standby for the effects of the storm.

01:37More than 1,000 personnel will be dispatched to 200 cemeteries in Cordillera.

01:44More than 700 personnel of the BFP, AFP, DPWH and MDRRMO or CDRRMO

01:53and more than 800 force multipliers will assist in monitoring.

01:58More than 100 police assistance desks will be set up in strategic locations

02:04such as cemeteries and high-traffic areas.

02:07It was also reminded to visitors to the cemeteries that illegal activities are prohibited

02:13such as guns, alcohol, loudspeakers and gambling.
