00:12LOK SAID, THIS IS NOT A QUESTION OF ACCEPTING A FORGIVENESS PLEADING OR NOT.

00:17CRIME IS CRIME.

00:19He also stressed once again,

00:21the provision of the House Arrest Law that will be presented to the government

00:25has nothing to do with Najib.

00:27On the contrary, it was made for the renewal of imprisonment.

00:30He said, if the provision of the House Arrest Law is passed,

00:34it is not applicable to those convicted of serious crimes.

00:38Najib was sentenced to 6 years in prison

00:42following the decision of the Forgiveness Institute

00:44after he was found guilty of embezzling RM42 million in SRC funds.

00:50Last week, Najib made an open apology to the public

00:54and admitted to being injured in the 1MDB scandal

00:58that led to the imprisonment involving the SRC International case.
