Which school was it that you went to?
00:02
Riop Infants, where my mum was a dinner lady, so we always used to get a bit of extra pudding.
00:08
But yeah, it was happy days actually, growing up in Riop, because it was a very tight community,
00:15
and my mum and dad were very much involved in the community, the life of Riop.
00:20
My dad was the treasurer and the working men's club, and because my mum was a dinner lady,
00:24
you know, everyone knew my mum and dad.
00:27
The first two words I ever typed into the internet were Coronation Street,
00:30
because I'm a huge Coronation Street fan.
00:32
I've got now two websites, which I'll still keep running, a Coronation Street blog.
00:37
The reason I'm talking about Corrie really is because that's led to me becoming a published writer,
00:42
that's actually where it all started.
00:43
I sometimes can't believe it.
00:46
It must be a great feeling to see your book on a shelf.
00:50
Oh, it's amazing, honestly.
