00:06The government has received a total of Php 55 million in aid from those who were affected by the Christine earthquake.

00:14This was confirmed in the last issue of the Office of Civil Defense.

00:19From here, Php 61,000 was divided into family food packs and almost Php 2,000 into non-food items.

00:29Almost 30,000 people were assisted by the DSWD in the evacuation centers and Php 27,000 was assisted by the DOH.

00:39Meanwhile, Php 649,000 was allocated to the medicine and other health commodities of the DOH.

00:49The agencies are working harder to ensure the safety of our countrymen who were affected by the Christine earthquake.

00:57In Pangasinan, the Philippine Coast Guard helped to implement the pre-emptive evacuation in Sitio Punta.

01:06Meanwhile, in Romblo, the Coast Guard substation Bantun in Barangay Nabalay deployed people to facilitate the clearing operations.

01:15They were accompanied by the Bureau of Fire Protection, PNP, volunteers and other people of the LGU.

01:22The landslide was recorded in the area because of the constant rain.

01:28The Philippine Navy did not help those affected by the heavy flooding.

01:33In Camarines Sur, using a rubber boat and a military truck,

01:37the Philippine Navy subdued the floodwaters to the point that some residents were saved.

01:45The evacuation was difficult because of the high water levels.

01:50The Philippine government continues to ensure the rapid evacuation of the affected areas in the province.

01:57Meanwhile, let's learn more from J. Lagang of PTV Davao.

02:02Good afternoon.

02:03This is an individual who was caught and was given marijuana at a checkpoint in Kapulisan,

02:09in Task Force Davao, in Barangay Lasang, Davao City.

02:12He was found dead on October 22.

02:15His name is Neil John, 30 years old, from San Isidro, Davao, Oriental.

02:21He was found with two cellophane and a bag of marijuana, worth Php 90,000.

02:32He was charged under Republic Act No. 9165, Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

02:41The Department of Social Welfare and Development, or DSWD Region 12,

02:46is currently investigating malnutrition among children enrolled in child development centers

02:52or other daycare centers.

02:54Supplementary feeding programs are being organized

02:58to provide nutritious food to child development centers in the region.

03:04The program includes pre-selected menus for nutritionists,

03:10dietitians, nurses, and nurses who will cook your food.

03:16The Sustainable Development Goals program in Region 12

03:21will address the problem of starvation

03:24for children who may be affected by the problem.

03:28Child development centers in Region 12 are located in Kapintres, Mila,

03:33and 97,000 students are enrolled in the program.

03:40Our supplementary feeding program aims to improve the nutritional status of children,

03:49especially those who are enrolled in child development centers.
