The Alltech documentary World Without Cows will be screened at Cattle Australia's annual general meeting in Tamworth on November 21.

00:01The fabric of nature hangs in the balance.

00:05Because our planet is under threat,

00:08and one creature is at the center of it all.

00:14Every day, between now and 2050,

00:17it gets harder to feed the world.

00:19We have had the mantra pounded into us,

00:22you gotta produce more, you gotta feed the world.

00:24If we keep eating animal products on this scale,

00:27climate change continues to be exacerbated.

00:30Many people would say,

00:31cows are the worst thing in the world for the climate.

00:37People say, let's just get rid of livestock and grow crops instead.

00:42That's not possible.

00:43We're really missing the bigger picture.

00:46In a world without cows,

00:47we may be giving up one of our best tools to help heal the planet.

00:51If we want to truly mitigate climate change,

00:55we need animals on the landscape.

00:59How do we pull that carbon out of the atmosphere
