00:00In Russia, the second day of the 16th BRICS Summit concluded with the declaration of a

00:05global reform adopted on Wednesday unanimously approved by other members of the bloc.

00:10The comprehensive document titled Kassan's Declaration emphasizes our reform in global

00:16security and mutualism gathered in 134 points.

00:21It reflects the bloc's collective vision and goals and establishes the future course of

00:26actions the BRICS strives to take as it defines two benchmarks for long-term cooperation.

00:43Russian President Vladimir Putin met with his Venezuelan counterpart, President Nicolás

00:47Maduro, on Wednesday to seal strategic alliances in the framework of the 2024 BRICS Summit.

00:52During the meeting, the Russian head of state thanked the Venezuelan president for attending

00:57the Kassan Summit as well as for participating in the work created by the bloc.

01:03They supported the desire of the Venezuelan president to join the BRICS and highlight

01:08Venezuela is a great partner for the Eurasian country and other countries of the world.

01:13Furthermore, Putin emphasized that strategic relations with Venezuela are increasingly

01:19and growing in various commercial areas and stressed that both countries must continue

01:24supporting each other.

01:32And the Venezuelan president also held a meeting with the president of the state of Palestine,

01:36Mahmoud Abbas, within the framework of the 16th Summit of the BRICS.

01:41President Nicolás Maduro expressed his support and solidarity with the Palestinian head of

01:44state and the people of Gaza.

01:46The South American leader emphasized the importance of defending Palestine and the

01:50lives of civilians against the genocide committed by Israel's occupation forces, as well as

01:55defending the peace and sovereignty of Venezuela against fascism and colonialism.

02:06And in keeping with a broad agenda, the Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro also held a meeting

02:10with the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Bira Abed Ali.

02:14Both authorities discussed the current main challenges of the global south regarding justice

02:20and sovereignty of the people.

02:22The reunion also addressed ways of strengthening bilateral cooperation in different areas of

02:26interest.

02:27Ethiopia joined the BRICS on January 2024 and is one of the economies of the African

02:32continent with the highest registered economic growth.

02:40Vice President Maduro held a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

02:44Both heads of state talked about the existing bilateral agreements which have been keeping

02:50up amicable relations for 74 years, which have strengthened since the arrival of the

02:56Bolivarian revolution.

02:57Indeed, the trade exchange between Caracas and Ankara has made profits of over 500 million

03:04dollars so far this year, with estimated financial gains to amounting to 100 million dollars

03:09by the end of 2024.

03:18Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro met with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko

03:22during the 16th Summit of the BRICS in Russia.

03:25After his arrival in the city of Kazan on Tuesday night, the Venezuelan president started

03:31his work agenda with a bilateral meeting with President Lukashenko.

03:35The purpose of the meeting was to go over the cooperation map in progress, where the

03:39areas of food, trade, energy, education and air transport stand out.

03:45The reunion was also aimed at strengthening the broader relations between both nations.

03:51The last time the heads of state met was in 1817 during a visit of the Venezuelan leader

03:55to the European country.

04:05Also in the front work of the Kazan BRICS Summit, Iranian President Mahmoud Pakistan

04:10highlighted the strategic relationship existing between his nation and his nation Russia during

04:18a speech where he also stressed the need for the end of the US totalitarianism in the world

05:08During his intervention in the close format meeting of the 60th BRICS Summit, Indian Prime

05:14Minister Narendra Modi referred to the benefits of the cooperation among member nations as

05:20well as India's commitment to enhance cooperation under the BRICS.

05:25Friends, in its new form, the BRICS economy exceeds 30 trillion dollars.

05:32The BRICS Business Council and the BRICS Women Business Alliance have played a special role

05:36in enhancing our economic cooperation.

05:39This year, the consensus reached among BRICS nations regarding WTO reforms, trade facilitation

05:45in agriculture, resilient supply chains, e-commerce and special economic zone will strengthen

05:50our economic cooperation.

05:51Amidst all these initiatives, we should also focus on the interests of small and medium

05:56enterprises.

05:59India is fully committed to enhancing cooperation under the BRICS.

06:02Our diversity and our strong belief in multipolarity are our strength.

06:06This strength of ours and shared belief in humanity will help in giving a meaningful

06:10shape to the prosperous and strong future of our future generations.
