01:44President Vladimir Putin is the milestone anniversary, 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War,

01:57Our countries have shared heroic chapters in our history.
02:04We celebrated 85th anniversary of our joint victory over Japanese military on the Halkingal River.
02:12Together, we celebrated this milestone at Amps during my visit to Al-Anbatar.
02:18Russia appreciates our cooperation with Mongolia during the Great Patriotic War.
02:25And when the Japanese Imperial Army was defeated in 1945,
02:31and the squadron of Mongolian forces and tank platoon also fought on our side and helped us to achieve victory,
02:47and the Mongolian army also participated in our military operation against the Japanese troops.
02:55We remember all of this, and we appreciated a lot the relations of the comprehensive strategic partnership
03:04with our neighboring country, with our friendly country.
03:07It's one of the priorities of our policy.
03:10We developed, and we maintain dialogue, the heads of government to meet regularly.
03:16We have mechanisms of consultations between our foreign ministries.
03:21We have cooperation in the matters of security.
03:24We have inter-parliamentary ties.
03:27We develop cooperation in culture and education.
03:31Mongolia is an important trade partner for us.
03:35The trade turnover grew by 17.5 percent, and in the first two months of this year, it increased by 25 more percent.
03:48We always respond to the requests by our Mongolian friends of various kinds, including on pretty sensitive topics,
03:58including the cooperation in the field of nuclear energy.

04:20I'm very happy to meet you and for your invitation, I travel to the hero city of Moscow to participate in the solemn celebration
04:28to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
04:32The Great Patriotic War is one of the vital, essential victories for the entire mankind.
04:39To ensure peace and stability across the entire globe, it's a vital victory for the entire mankind.
04:47And we shared all the hardships of that war during the most difficult years, and we will never forget this.
04:54The Great Patriotic War and the historic victory in that war must not be – must not be distorted.
05:02The history must not be distorted because it is an important milestone for our both countries.
05:09And addressing you, the President of the Russian Federation, and the entire people of Russia,
05:17I would like to congratulate you on this milestone event on the victory in the Great Patriotic War on behalf of the entire Mongolian people.
05:24And Mongolian troops are going to participate in the military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the great victory.
05:36It's been 80 years since that victory.
05:39Our forefathers, our ancestors, endured all the hardships of that difficult war.
05:49And we also fought together in other conflicts, and we stood side by side during those times.
05:58And since the very first days of the Great Patriotic War, the Mongolian people stood together with the people of Russia,
06:05and we overcame that difficult period, and we did everything we could to survive back then.
06:18And the Mongolian tank brigade and the Mongolian squadron – their squadron participated in the hostilities.
06:28And the Mongolian people also helped generously with the supplies, helped the Russian people to ensure the victory in that war, providing everything it could.
06:43And the Mongolian people and the Mongolian people to the Russian side for making such a huge contribution to this victory.
06:50Also last year, we celebrated the 85th anniversary of our joint victory in the Battle of Halkingol in 1939.
06:58And during that battle, to celebrate this anniversary, you made a historic trip to Mongolia,
07:07which laid a stronger foundation to develop and broaden the relations between our countries,
07:13the relations of strategic comprehensive level.
07:16And during that visit of yours, we held talks.
07:21During that talks, we discussed all the items on our bilateral agenda on how we can implement all the agreements between us in practice.
07:31And there are a few questions that we need to discuss with you.
07:40And the first matter is the hydroelectric power plants.
07:50We're looking at yet another bilateral meeting in Russia between the president of Russia, in this case, and the president of Mongolia.
