00:00This typhoon Christine is still on the rise in many parts of the country due to the heavy rainfall.

00:07It is expected that this typhoon will land this evening.

00:10We got an update on the current situation from Assa Weather Specialist, Mr. Aljon Tamundong.

00:22The typhoon Christine has risen and it is a severe tropical storm.

00:26The typhoon Christine was last seen at a distance of 175 kilometers east of Etiague, Isabela.

00:32It is a strong wind that can reach up to 95 kilometers per hour

00:36and a gust of wind that can reach up to 115 kilometers per hour.

00:40It is moving in the direction of northwestward at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour.

00:44Because of this, the signal number 3 in Isabela, Calinga, Mountain Province, Ipugao,

00:50Central portion of Abra, Benguet, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya,

00:54Northern and Central portions of Aurora, Northern portion of Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, La Union,

00:59Central and Southern portions of Ilocos Sur.

01:01Signal number 2 in Ilocos Norte, rest of Ilocos Sur, Apayao, rest of Abra,

01:07Cagayan including Baguayan Islands, rest of Aurora, rest of Nueva Ecija, Bulacan,

01:12Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal,

01:18Quezon including Polillo Islands, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur and Catanduanes.

01:23Signal number 1 in Batanes, Batangas, Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands,

02:04Because of this, we are asking our fellow countrymen to be careful and be prepared

02:09for floods and landslides that could be caused by a typhoon.

02:13For our fellow countrymen, we have raised the gale warning in the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas.

02:19We are asking the people here in Sakimpang Dagat not to go to the places where the gale warning is raised.

02:25We are asking Christina to expect landfall in Isabela later tonight or tomorrow morning.

02:30We are also expecting the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday.
