What’s your favourite spot in Newcastle?

We spoke with members of the public and bumped into Tyneside Life to ask where their favourite spots in the city is!

00:00There's a park near my accommodation where, I don't know what it's called, I think it's Lisa's Park,

00:04with the cows. I don't know, there's cows there and I like going there. Or just anywhere on campus

00:10to be honest, just the city centre in general is a nice atmosphere. Social club, but otherwise

00:18the monument, just because it is pretty beautiful and then down there and down there, like it reminds

00:23me of, I'm from Bath and it reminds me of Bath, so it's really pretty. My absolute favourite is

00:28because I'm a huge Newcastle United fan and season ticket holder is the iconic St James' Park.

00:35Just right on the outskirts of the city centre, the stadium dominates the skyline. It's just a

00:42magnificent sight and a cool area to hang around as well. There's lots of cool bars and cafes and

00:47you've got Chinatown right next to it and Pig Lane which leads up to St James' Park. But because the

00:53football club's got such a huge connection with the Newcastle community, for me I think that's

00:58probably my favourite spot.
