Wellington home endures violent shaking as 5.7 magnitude earthquake strikes

No alarm was needed to wake Punam up on the morning of October 6, 2024, as nature took care of that in a terrifying manner.

The security camera footage shows Punam's packed living room being seconds away from turning into a waste container.

Every single item in the frame shakes violently as a high-intensity earthquake strikes Wellington, Punam's hometown.

Fortunately, the quake doesn't last long, and as a result, Punam's home incurs no significant damage.

"It was a 5.7 magnitude earthquake," she informed WooGlobe.
