00:00Hey, Scott, let's recap week seven in college football, another great weekend, back-to-back

00:08stellar weekends, thrillers from noon until midnight.

00:13Let's begin with a heavyweight match in Eugene, Oregon, Ohio State, as good as advertised.

00:20I think fans are really enjoying this college football season, Scott, because the big games

00:25are delivering.

00:26Alabama, Georgia, Oregon, Ohio State.

00:29This weekend, we'll talk in a sec about Georgia, Texas, but Oregon got exactly what it wanted

00:36out of the portal from Dylan Gabriel, thought he was fantastic.

00:40Will Howard over on the other side played well until that bad decision late, but Dylan

00:44Gabriel was spectacular, accurate quarterback, veteran quarterback, has played for UCF, played

00:50big games for Oklahoma, really stepped up in the fourth quarter against Ohio State.

00:55Couple of things that came to mind for me, number one, I think he should be the Heisman

01:00favorite right now.

01:01He was my preseason favorite, and I'm a little surprised that people aren't giving more NFL

01:06draft love to Dylan Gabriel, again, veteran quarterback, accurate, poised, mobile outside

01:12the pocket, had the long touchdown run in the fourth quarter, and then the final drive

01:18to win it, so great win for Oregon.

01:20Both of these teams, by the way, firmly in the playoff hunt, firmly in the national championship

01:26hunt, they'll probably meet in Indianapolis for the Big Ten title game.

01:30Now, let's keep it in the Big Ten, Penn State, big win over USC, what are we doing with Lincoln

01:35Riley, Scott?

01:36I mean, this guy is regressing, going back to the Oklahoma days, never could get the

01:41Sooners over the hump.

01:42Now at USC, he was supposed to be this big, massive game-changing hire, and it hasn't

01:48happened.

01:50Year one, couldn't win the Pac-12 championship, eight and five last year, now three and three

01:55in his first season in the Big Ten, and the big concern for me, after blowing another

02:00lead against Penn State, all three of those Big Ten losses were games that they were winning

02:05in the fourth quarter.

02:07They're unable to close, and Lincoln Riley's certainly not hot seat conversation here,

02:12but he's got to get things turned around in Troy.

02:14Let's turn over to week eight right now, two quick games, your Indiana Hoosiers in

02:19the Big Ten game of the week, hosting Nebraska, I love that, I mean the Huskers playing big

02:24football at five and one, Indiana six and oh, how do they handle the spotlight, and

02:29a tough visit from Nebraska, that's going to be a great one at 12 noon, and then the

02:34big one at night, Georgia, Texas, Georgia's got to come through, they have not played

02:39well in the past month, they have the loss to Alabama, they have to get off the mat and

02:45win this game, one quick storyline to keep in mind, Texas has faced true freshman quarterbacks

02:50in each of the last two weeks, have not faced a good passing game all year, here comes Carson

02:55Beck, going to be very interesting to see how they handle one of the best quarterbacks
