00:00It's not that impressive, to be honest, and I think if you look at the reaction from even

00:06the government benches, you can see that even they were not impressed.

00:10I was hoping to see a little bit more emphasis on ASEAN, our role as ASEAN chairman, our

00:17effort to liberalise the economy further, to attract more foreign investment especially.

00:23I was hoping to see more incentive for domestic investors.

00:26I was hoping to see more efforts and more incentive, more policy being announced on

00:32how to grow the economy.

00:34That can be done better by liberalising the economy further, but I did not see that so

00:38much in today's speech.

00:41I think overall people were looking for something that can help them cover the rising cost of

00:46living.

00:47There were assistance here and there that was announced in the budget today, but as

00:53I said earlier, there's no real oomph that we can see in the speech.
