00:11Well, what is an Indian summer?

00:13Well, by definition, an Indian summer is when warm weather returns

00:17after we've had our first widespread frost in mid to late October or November.

00:23If these conditions occur, then we're having an Indian summer

00:26and it's exactly what we're having right now.

00:29Now, despite what the name suggests, the origins of this don't come from the country of India

00:35but rather from the Native American Indians

00:38who used to write about cold weather arriving in mid-autumn

00:41and then a warm spell arriving again seemingly out of nowhere.

00:46This would then provide them the perfect conditions to go out hunting again.

00:50But the Indian summer we're experiencing right now, well, how long is that set to last?

00:56Well, Thursday and Friday will bring further warm days

01:00but it will turn a bit cooler over the weekend as well as breezier.
