00:00More than 60 billion pesos of key projects of the Marcos Jr. Administration

00:05have already been approved by the NEDABORG.

00:08Among them is the big infrastructure project

00:11that is expected to improve the transport network in Mindanao.

00:16Kenneth Paciente is in the center of the news.

00:20Two big projects were approved in the 21st NEDABORG meeting

00:25led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

00:28The first is the Phase 1 of the Health System Resilience Project

00:32that is worth P27.92 billion pesos.

00:36The project will provide a way to strengthen the health emergency in the country.

00:41Preparations are also being made for the support,

00:43especially in areas affected by diseases.

00:46According to the President,

00:47this is a way for the government to ensure access to health care wherever you live.

00:52Seventeen provinces are the target of the pilot run of the Resilient Health System Project.

00:57The project is anchored in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028

01:02that will strengthen the country's Contingency Emergency Response Component.

01:07The Mindanao Transport Connectivity Improvement Project of the DPWH

01:10is also approved by the NEDABORG.

01:13Its aim is to improve the transport network in Mindanao.

01:17That is why it is expected to transport agricultural goods from faraway places.

01:22It's one of the main road programs for Mindanao.

01:27I think that we should, as much as possible, proceed with the project.

01:32We need to approve.

01:33According to the President,

01:35this is a big help to farmers so that the opportunity for them will be wider.

01:40The project will be worth P37 billion pesos

01:44that will be funded by the World Bank

01:46that is expected to be completed by 2030.
