00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. recognized the quick action of the Israeli government

00:05in ensuring the safety of Filipinos in the face of the chaos there.

00:09He asked the President of Israel, President Isaac Herzog,

00:13after the two talked on a phone call.

00:16According to President Marcos Jr.,

00:19it is a big thing for him, especially for the Filipino families there,

00:24the steps that the Israeli government is taking to take care of and support the Filipinos living there.

00:31This is followed by the President's statement

00:34that the bilateral partner of the country, Israel, remains a reliable one

00:38because of the relationship between the two countries over a long period of time.

00:42The President said that in the face of the challenges,

00:44there will be peace and that the strong bond between the Philippines and Israel will continue.

00:49According to the latest data,

00:50more than 30,000 Filipinos are currently living in Israel.

00:55The President said that he supports Israel in the midst of the chaos

00:59through the Palestinian Militant Group Hamas.
