00:00A week before the deadline of the Bureau of Immigration,

00:03thousands of POGO workers have not yet been able to downgrade their work visas.

00:10While the police are still looking for the former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque,

00:21A few days before the October 15 deadline of the Bureau of Immigration,

00:2520,000 to 30,000 foreign POGO workers have not yet been able to downgrade their work visas to a tourist visa.

00:33This is also the reason why the President has ordered the banning of POGO workers from the country.

00:37According to Bureau of Immigration Deputy Spokesperson Melvin Mabulak,

00:41after downgrading, they only have 50 days to leave the country.

00:46But if they are able to downgrade as foreign POGO workers, they will be arrested.

00:50We will issue an order to leave here.

00:54We will release the cancellation of all of their visas that were issued related to POGO.

01:02We will cancel them automatically.

01:04This means that they will be improperly documented.

01:07That could be a basis for deportation.

01:10And they will be placed on our blacklist.

01:14Based on the data of the BI, only 10,000 were able to downgrade.

01:18We have a coordination. We are having a periodic meeting with the concerned agencies

01:24to ensure that this can be implemented and that our deadline is up to date.

01:28POGO is very open in our communication.

01:31It includes PAO, NBI, and PNP.

01:41Meanwhile, the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group is still looking for

01:47former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque,

01:49who has a contempt order from the Quad Committee of the House of Representatives.
