00:00The Department of Interior and local government confirmed that there are two people who were affected by the Petito Flood.

00:07According to DILG Secretary John Vicremulia,

00:10no one was killed in the areas affected by the Petito Flood,

00:15except for two people who were affected in Nueva Ecija.

00:18According to Kalihim, residents were forced to stay in their houses near the river.

00:25That's why when the water level rose, they were also affected by the flood.

00:30On the other hand, Vicremulia identified the so-called pre-emptive evacuation

00:35in the areas affected by the flood.

00:37The LGU is also continuously coordinating with government agencies

00:41such as DSWD, OCD, DPWH, PNP, BFP, and others

00:48to ensure continuous assistance to those affected by the flood.

00:53DILG is also calling on the public to take their advice seriously

00:57and evacuate whenever it is considered a new normal
