01:40knowing that he's going to do things the right way,

01:41knowing that he knows that he can't do this alone,

01:44that he's reaching out to guys like Brian Sabian,

01:46and he's doing his due diligence on bringing in the GM here

01:49to kind of do the day to day, every day, be the face at press conferences

01:53or whatnot.

01:55Buster Posey being here has given me hope that they can land a big fish.

01:58Now, they don't land a lot of big fishes in San Francisco.

02:01The history tells us that they need to develop and have homegrown talent.

02:05And that obviously is an emphasis on this year.

02:08Bryce Eldridge on line one, Ramos, Fitzgerald, whatever.

02:12But you do need somebody from the outside.

02:14And I look at this lineup.

02:16I need athleticism and I need some power.

02:19I take care of the power of free agency.

02:21I think Pete Alonzo, no matter what stadium he's played in,

02:23is good for 30 to 40 home runs a season.

02:25No doubt. It's just a threat.

02:27Well, and I think when you talk about relatability and whatnot,

02:31again, I'm going deep on this and people are going to roll their eyes

02:34and they're going to think it's stupid.

02:35You clearly have to have the right amount of money.

02:42I know with good authority, Buster loves hunting and fishing, loves it.

02:50And so if I was Buster Posey, I would suggest to Pete Alonzo,

02:57And let's just talk life, you know, and I would love to see it.

03:01You obviously have to have the right money.

03:02You have to have the right contract.

03:04Situation's got to be good.

03:05I don't know what the Mets are going to do.

03:07I mean, they're in like a very tight luxury tax situation.

03:10You know, their owner has been in trouble with Major League Baseball

03:13in terms of flying over the luxury tax.

03:20and the rest of the baseball owners, or if they're going to draw a hard line here.

03:25Maybe they got some big contracts besides Pete Alonzo on their books.
