The Department of Foreign Affairs said it has cancelled the passport of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo, who is also alleged to be a Chinese spy Guo Hua Ping, since September 30.

00:00The Department of Foreign Affairs said it has cancelled the passport of dismissed Bamban
00:05Tarlac mayor, Alice Guo, who is also alleged to be a Chinese spy Guo Huaping, since September

00:13The agency said it terminated the fraudulently acquired Philippine passport of Guo upon its
00:19receipt of request from the Department of Justice.
00:22DFA cited the provision of the new Philippine passport law in cancelling Guo's passport,
00:28which is,
00:29A passport may be denied or cancelled or restrictions may be imposed on a passport based on the
00:35following ground when a passport was acquired fraudulently, tampered with or issued erroneously.
00:44The DFA is committed to maintaining the security of issuing Philippine passports and ensures
00:49that fraudulent applications are referred to law enforcement for investigation and prosecution.
