00:00So this is the somewhat fabled, iconic possibly, Heart of Midlothian Football Club Tyne Castle
00:14Park sign which has been lovingly recreated at the Gorgie Stand end of Tyne Castle.
00:24The original sign which was in place for many, many decades, I think from the 1920s until
00:32the 1990s when Tyne Castle was revamped and tragically and very carelessly the sign was
00:44misplaced or put out with the rest of the rubble and taken to a rubbish tip somewhere
00:52or possibly nabbed by some enterprising passerby. But anyway the original sign is gone and has
01:01been gone since 1994. This was I think a very admirable attempt and admirable decision to
01:11try and recreate it by Hearts as part of their Maroon Mile project which is designed to highlight
01:21the links between Hearts and the local community of Gorgie. Anyway this has been painted onto the
01:28side of the stand by Thomas Payne, East Lothian sign writer and will be I think, well unveiled
01:35certainly officially tomorrow when Hearts take on Ross County in what is a very, very important
01:44match for the club as they attempt to avoid a ninth successive defeat. Liam Fox's new manager,
01:54he was telling us earlier at the pre-match press conference that he once sat in the Gorgie Road
02:00stand when he was a fan, he would come here week in week out to watch Hearts so it's an
02:07emotional weekend for him, taking charge of Hearts on a temporary basis but certainly a
02:15proud moment as he walks out with the players tomorrow. This is Alan Patullo, football writer
