00:14career up there at Coors Field, four-time All-Star, two-time Silver Slugger, and won

00:23Maybe a name you don't know as well, but hopefully the long hair, the lechuga, and the beard

00:28that you recognize, you spent nearly a decade and a half in Colorado.

00:33Craig, how will you remember the career of Charlie Blackman?

00:36Yeah, a great player, playing at altitude for many years, you know, it kind of takes

00:41me back to 10, 15 years ago playing fantasy baseball when you always wanted Rockies players

00:47when the Rockies were, and by the way, they still are very competitive at home.

00:51Take a look at the Rockies home record this year, it's like they have the worst record

00:53in the National League, not named the Marlins, and yet their home record's always pretty

00:56good.

00:57Always put on a show for the home crowd, as you mentioned, won the batting title, certainly

01:02one of those players that will be on the Hall of Fame ballot, will get some consideration,

01:06but naturally I think he does fall short of that, but I did see him play for many years

01:11in person and have nothing for respect for him.

01:14Retires at the age of 38, by the way, probably had a couple years left, not having a bad

01:18year either, but just decided that it is time.
