Yang, brother of former presidential advisor Michael Yang, has been suspected of shady

activities and was arrested last week.

During the hearing, Yang said he knew Acorda since the latter served as Northern Mindanao

Cagayan de Oro, where most of Yang's businesses are located, was under Acorda's jurisdiction.

There was also talk that a former PNP chief allegedly aided dismissed Bambantarlak Mayor

The ex-PNP chief was not named, but Acorda also denies any involvement with Guo.
