00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. believes that the price of rice will continue to go down.

00:06This is also a follow-up to the government's spread rumours.

00:40she also gave confidence to the government that the price of rice will continue to go down.

00:46According to the President, there's a high possibility that the price of rice in the country will go down,

00:52especially since it's not far from the price trend in Southeast Asia.

00:56That's why the President believes that the price of rice in the Philippines will go down.

01:02The government also assured that it will continue to spread rumours

01:05so that the food inflation will go down, especially rice.

01:09The Rice Competitive Enhancement Fund, or RCEF, will expand until 2030,

01:15where farm input vouchers will be made possible for farmers

01:19so that they can replace their needs.

01:21This also includes speeding up the unloading of imported rice.

01:25According to the Presidential Communications Office,

01:27imported rice went down by 15% or 7 pesos per kilo

01:32because of the Executive Order No. 62 signed by President Marcos Jr.

01:50by speeding up the rollout of the vaccine against African Swine Fever.
