00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council

00:07regarding the Pipito earthquake.

00:09The President alerted not only the government agencies,

00:13but also the public because of the flood or storm surge.

00:19The hope that the rain will be devastating is also in the air.

00:23That's what Clayzel Fordilla predicted.

00:27Even though it's not hitting the ground yet,

00:30some places are already at signal number 2,

00:33where the Pipito earthquake could hit.

00:36It will be even stronger.

00:38There will be heavy rainfall,

00:41and it will be even higher than 3 meters of water level,

00:44or almost 2 floors of a house.

00:47The places near the sea,

00:50in the regions of Bicol, Quezon, and Eastern Visayas,

00:54President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is worried

00:57that it will not only affect the destruction of infrastructures,

01:02but also the lives of people.

01:08a quick evacuation before the disaster happens.

01:42Tonight, the DILG ordered an evacuation

01:46to the areas that could be hit by the quake.

01:49More than 200,000 residents are expected

01:53to be under the preemptive evacuation.
