00:00The Senators appraised the Magna Carta of Filipino Seafarers.

00:05According to Senator Rafi Tulfo,

00:07he thanked President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for this,

00:11as well as for being a part of the creation of the law.

00:14As for Senator Grace,

00:16this law will give a message to shipping companies and operators

00:19to treat our seafarers with justice and responsibility,

00:23especially in giving wages and ensuring their safety.

00:27For Senator Bong Go,

00:28it is the right of seafarers to be given the right wages,

00:31benefits, and protection against threats to their livelihood.

00:36In a Facebook post, Senator Ivey Marcos said

00:39that the enactment of the Panukala Law is a success for every Filipino sailor.

00:46Of course, Lord, I am really overwhelmed with joy.

00:51Thank you very much.

00:54To all the seafarers, this is for you.

00:58I have nothing more to say.
