00:07In a Facebook post, Bersatu Deputy President Ahmad Faizal Azumu

00:11expressed his condolences to Edin's family.

00:14He added that Edin's passing was a great loss to Bersatu and the nation.

00:19Edin's death was confirmed by Negeri Sembilan Perikatan Nasional Chief, Hanifah Abu Bakar.

00:26Edin was Kuala Pilah MP from May 2018 to November 2022.

00:31He held the position of Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister

00:35under the Pakatan Harapan government led by Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.

00:39He was made a Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department

00:43during Muhyiddin Yassin's administration and later served as Deputy Works Minister.

00:48Edin was also Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department

00:52in charge of Economic Affairs under the Ismail Sabri Yacoub-led government.
