00:15Twenty-one-year-old Mohamed Habib Nomod Zairi, twenty-year-old Mohamed Khunais Fathi Khabil

00:21and twenty-two-year-old Ahmad Nadzful Izham Azizan pleaded not guilty after the charges

00:26were read to them before Judge Datin Surita Budin.

00:31Mohamed Habib Nomod faces four charges under Section 14A of the Sexual Offences Against

00:36Children Act 2017, while Mohamed Khunais faces six charges and Ahmad Nadzful three.

00:44Mohamed Habib was also charged with one count under Section 14B of the same Act.

00:50Both provisions carry a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping upon conviction.

00:57The offences were allegedly committed at the madrasa between 2022 and 2023.

01:04Judge Surita set bail at 12,000 ringgit for each offence with one surety and allowed the

01:09other conditions requested by the prosecution.

01:12The suspects, brought to the court complex around 9.10am on Thursday, were arrested during

01:18the recent Op Global.

01:20Last week, Bukit Aman's Criminal Investigation Department raided 20 charity homes in Selangor

01:26and Negeri Sembilan linked to GISB Holdings, rescuing 402 children and teenagers, including

01:34201 boys and 201 girls aged between 1 and 17.
