00:19The alleged offence occurred at a house in Masjid Tana on January 6.

00:24The charge was framed under Section 14, Subsection A of the Sexual Offences Against Children

00:29Act, 2017, which carries a maximum 20-year prison term and whipping upon conviction.

00:36The accused was granted bail of RM8,000 and ordered to surrender his passport as well

00:43as to report to the nearest police station monthly until the end of his case.

00:48The court set February 18 for submission of documents and for the accused to appoint a lawyer.
