Northern Trains not feeling the love

After Northern Trains announced that dating apps are blocked on their WiFi, we ask the public their thoughts on this and on dating apps in general.

00:13they don't have the time to go outside and communicate and find people in social life, like, in person,

00:49so I think that doesn't make sense to me at all.

00:54I mean, I'm old, you know, but we used to meet people and talk to them and not do it on the phone.

01:01I think it's better if you, like, have your location on the whole time

01:05and then you can just go or have a... or say to a friend,

01:08you know, I'm going to that certain place to meet someone from an online dating app,

01:12just on the back of your head, have a night for me.

01:15My youngest daughter, who still is in Germany, she tried one once

01:19and the amount of rubbish she got, it was absolutely unbelievable.

01:23I mean, 99%, it was the famous pics.

01:27I met my husband through a dating app, it's called Bumble.

01:30Yeah, and it was quite good for us.

01:33Yeah, we had a good match and it was a very nice approach to have filters

01:41through everything that you want in a relationship and what you're expecting from it,

01:45if it's serious, if it's just dating, if it's just having a friend or company.

01:50And then, yeah, I think it was a good chance for me also.

01:53I'll be married 32 years, so there's no need.

01:56But if I was, I'm sure I'd get into lots of trouble.
