01:10Last night, through a concert at Kalayaan Ground in Malacanang Compound,

01:15the country celebrated the start of the one-year countdown of hosting the Philippines

01:20in the upcoming FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship

01:25from September 12 to September 28 of the next year.

01:29It was called PH2SERV,

01:31where President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,

01:35First Lady Liza Marcos,

01:37and Presidential Son William Vincent Vini Marcos,

01:41who is the co-chair of the Local Organizing Committee,

01:44just recently, the government introduced the ALAS Pilipinas,

01:49the National Volleyball Team of the Philippines.

01:52My dream is to succeed in all the challenges that will come to life as a team.

01:59I want us to be together until the end.

04:10Because of the track record in hosting major volleyball events

04:13and the passionate fan base,

04:15the Philippines is expected to give a good experience.

04:20I think that 2025 will be a very good start.

04:24It's not the end of volleyball.

04:26It's just the start for volleyball here.

04:28Improve is not just win against the opponents.

04:32Improve means to win also against the things that you are not doing well.

04:37So what I always say to the player

04:40that we need their improvement physically, mentally, and technically.

04:47And my goal is to see the level of volleyball in the Philippines getting better.

04:5632 national teams from all over the world will attend the tournament.
