00:47Meldrig, what is the inspiration behind this musical play?

00:53Of course, one of the biggest inspirations is the storytelling of our youth.

01:02We can share with them the famous stories of our country through a musical play.

01:20Meldrig, how did you choose the main characters?

01:24Did you do any research for Maria and Juan?

01:28Yes, we had auditions for the roles.

01:35Not only for Juan and Maria, but also for other characters.

01:41It was a long process for us.

01:45We had a lot of auditions.

01:51So, we had to think and discuss who would be suitable for the roles.

01:58The songs should also fit the voices of the characters.

02:04Speaking of music, how did you choose the songs?

02:09We have with us the musical director, Eugene.

02:13Basically, when I compose music, it depends on the text that the scriptwriter, Luigi Nacario, gives me.

02:24That's where I base the pattern of the melodies and everything.
