00:00The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, or PHIVOLCS, has warned of a magmatic

00:06eruption of Canlaon volcano in Negros Island.

00:09For the past 24 hours, PHIVOLCS recorded more than 300 volcano tectonic earthquakes, a sign

00:16that the magma is making its way to erupt.

00:19Canlaon's daily average emission of sulfur dioxide reached 9,985 tons, which is the highest

00:26recorded sulfur dioxide emission.

00:28PHIVOLCS added the actions exhibited by the Canlaon volcano are indicative of an explosion

00:34or a magmatic eruption.
