00:37There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it's born.

00:42Madam Vice President, I want to get your response to President Trump.

00:45Well, as I said, you're going to hear a bunch of lies, and that's not actually a surprising fact.

00:49The government, and Donald Trump certainly, should not be telling a woman what to do with her body.

00:56I have talked with women around our country.

00:59You want to talk about this is what people wanted?

01:02Pregnant women who want to carry a pregnancy to term, suffering from a miscarriage,

01:08being denied care in an emergency room because the health care providers are afraid they might go to jail,

01:14and she's bleeding out in a car in the parking lot?

01:17She didn't want that? Her husband didn't want that?

01:20A 12- or 13-year-old survivor of incest being forced to carry a pregnancy to term?

01:27They don't want that?

01:29How would you deport 11 million undocumented immigrants?

01:32I know you believe that number is much higher.

01:35Take us through this. What does this look like?

01:37Will authorities be going door to door in this country?

01:39Yeah, it is much higher because of them.

01:42They allowed criminals, many, many millions of criminals.

01:46They allowed terrorists. They allowed common street criminals.

01:50They allowed people to come in, drug dealers, to come into our country,

01:53and they're now in the United States and told by their countries, like Venezuela,

01:59don't ever come back or we're going to kill you.

02:02Do you know that crime in Venezuela and crime in countries all over the world is way down?

02:08You know why? Because they've taken their criminals off the street

02:11and they've given them to her to put into our country.

02:16In Minnesota, she went out.

02:31Crime here is up and through the roof.

02:34Despite their fraudulent statements that they made,

02:36crime in this country is through the roof.

02:39And we have a new form of crime. It's called migrant crime.

02:42And it's happening at levels that nobody thought possible.

02:45President Trump, as you know, the FBI says overall violent crime is actually coming down in this country.

02:49I'll let you respond, Vice President Harris.

02:51Well, I think this is so rich, coming from someone who has been prosecuted

02:56for national security crimes, economic crimes, election interference,

03:03has been found liable for sexual assault,

03:07and his next big court appearance is in November at his own criminal sentencing.

03:13And let's be clear.

03:15Where each person stands on the issue of what is important about respect for the rule of law

03:21and respect for law enforcement,

03:23the former vice president called for defunding federal law enforcement,

03:2845,000 agents, get this, on the day after he was arraigned on 34 felony counts.

03:35And I want to ask you a very simple question tonight.

03:37Do you want Ukraine to win this war?

03:40I want the war to stop. I want to save lives that are being uselessly,

03:45people being killed by the millions.

03:47It's the millions. It's so much worse than the numbers that you're getting, which are fake numbers.

03:52I actually met with Zelensky a few days before Russia invaded,

03:58tried through force to change territorial boundaries,

04:02to defy one of the most important international rules and norms,

04:06which is the importance of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

04:09And I met with President Zelensky.

04:11I shared with him American intelligence about how he could defend himself.

04:15You said she went to negotiate with Vladimir Putin.

04:17Vice President Harris, have you ever met Vladimir Putin? Can you clarify tonight?

04:21Yet again, I said it at the beginning of this debate.

04:23You're going to hear a bunch of lies coming from this fellow.

04:25And that is another one.

04:27When I went to meet with President Zelensky, I've now met with him over five times.

04:32The reality is it has been about standing as America always should,

04:37as a leader upholding international rules and norms,

04:42as a leader who shows strength,

04:45understanding that the alliances we have around the world

04:49are dependent on our ability to look out for our friends

04:53and not favor our enemies because you adore strongmen

04:58instead of caring about democracy.

05:01So I think you've heard tonight two very different visions for our country,

05:07one that is focused on the future and the other that is focused on the past

05:12and an attempt to take us backward.

05:15But we're not going back.

05:18And I do believe that the American people know

05:21we all have so much more in common than what separates us,

05:24and we can chart a new way forward.

05:27And a vision of that includes having a plan,

05:31understanding the aspirations, the dreams, the hopes,

05:35the ambition of the American people,

05:38which is why I intend to create an opportunity economy,

05:42investing in small businesses, in new families,

05:46in what we can do around protecting seniors,

05:49what we can do that is about giving hardworking folks a break

05:53and bringing down the cost of living.

05:56I believe in what we can do together

05:59that is about sustaining America's standing in the world

06:03and ensuring that we have the respect that we so rightly deserve,

06:07including respecting our military

06:10and ensuring we have the most lethal fighting force in the world.

06:14I will be a president that will protect our fundamental rights and freedoms,

06:17including the right of a woman to make decisions about her own body

06:21and not have her government tell her what to do.

06:24I'll tell you, I started my career as a prosecutor.

06:27I was a DA, I was an attorney general,

06:30a United States senator, and now vice president.

06:33I've only had one client, the people.

06:36And I'll tell you, as a prosecutor, I never asked a victim or a witness,

06:39are you a Republican or a Democrat?

06:42The only thing I ever asked them, are you okay?

06:45And that's the kind of president we need right now,

06:48someone who cares about you and is not putting themselves first.

06:53I intend to be a president for all Americans

06:56and focus on what we can do over the next 10 and 20 years

07:01to build back up our country by investing right now in you, the American people.

07:07So she just started by saying she's going to do this, she's going to do that,

07:10she's going to do all these wonderful things.

07:13Why hasn't she done it?

07:15She's been there for three and a half years.

07:17They've had three and a half years to fix the border.

07:20They've had three and a half years to create jobs and all the things we talked about.

07:25Why hasn't she done it?

07:27She should leave right now, go down to that beautiful White House,

07:31go to the Capitol, get everyone together and do the things you want to do,

07:35but you haven't done it and you won't do it

07:37because you believe in things that the American people don't believe in.

07:41You believe in things like we're not going to frack,

07:44we're not going to take fossil fuel, we're not going to do things

07:47that are going to make this country strong whether you like it or not.

07:51Germany tried that and within one year they were back to building normal energy plants.

07:58We're not ready for it.

07:59We can't sacrifice our country for the sake of bad vision.

08:04But I just ask one simple question.

08:06Why didn't she do it?

08:08We're a failing nation.

08:10We're a nation that's in serious decline.

08:13We're being laughed at all over the world.

08:15All over the world they laugh.

08:16I know the leaders very well.

08:18They're coming to see me.

08:19They call me.

08:20We're laughed at all over the world.

08:22They don't understand what happened to us as a nation.

08:25We're not a leader.

08:26We don't have any idea what's going on.

08:29We have wars going on in the Middle East.

08:31We have wars going on with Russia and Ukraine.

08:35We're going to end up in a third world war

08:37and it'll be a war like no other because of nuclear weapons, the power of weaponry.

08:42I rebuilt our entire military.

08:45She gave a lot of it away to the Taliban.

08:49She gave it to Afghanistan.

08:51What these people have done to our country

08:54and maybe toughest of all is allowing millions of people to come into our country.

08:59Many of them are criminals and they're destroying our country.

09:02The worst president, the worst vice president in the history of our country.
