00:00You know, Matt, the line is what it was, you know, a lot of smart people really thought

00:07the Jets would keep this close, maybe even win the game.

00:09And then you open up with McCaffrey being out and you thought, wow, like this could

00:13be legit.

00:14Jets could win.

00:15Uh, you know, Jets score a touchdown.

00:16You see Rogers throwing a ball, Wilson, you're feeling like, okay, they're going to stay

00:20in the game.

00:21And then my gosh, the second half, they just got torn apart on the ground.

00:25Yeah, they did.

00:27You know, I think that if you're a Jets fan, you can look at some positives, which was,

00:32you know, we mostly held them to field goals against most teams, field goals.

00:37If you hold teams to field goals, you're going to win the game, but you can't give up six

00:41mixed with a couple of touchdowns.

00:44And so from that standpoint, it was a little bit mixed.

00:49You know, you're not going to play one of the best teams in the NFL every week.

00:52And there's no doubt that the 49ers are one of, you know, to me, one of the three best

00:58teams in the NFL, certainly one of the top five, and that made it tough.

01:01You're playing on the road.

01:02It's your quarterback's first game in a year.

01:05So there was definitely a lot of things working against the Jets, but you thought the defense

01:09would be there.

01:10You thought the defense would travel.

01:12I think we saw all week that defense was ahead of offense, which isn't, you know, unusual

01:17for early in a season like this, week one, especially.

01:20So mixed bag, I think ultimately you're disappointed.

01:24But at the same time, you lost on the road to the 49ers.

01:28You were expected to lose this game.

01:30You're 0-1.

01:31That's the big thing that matters, and you kind of move on and you just try to improve.

01:36So some positives, some negatives.

01:40But if you're a Jets fan, like I said, you were supposed to lose this game.

01:44You had this one circled with an L on it, and now you can move on.
