00:00Comedian Rufa May Quinto, or Peachy to her friends, was born here in Pampanga.

00:06And if there's one thing our Kapalans know, it's their cooking skills.

00:18What we're going to cook is the Kapampangan Shrimp Dish called Lagat Paro.

00:23But what's special about the Lagat Paro of Kapampangan,

00:26which is served with sandamak mak na kamyas,

00:29is the version of a plant called pingol.

00:32It's a type of plant that can be found in the mountains of Pampanga.

00:36It's commonly used to season other dishes of Kapampangan.
