00:00PhilHealth may now announce the announcement of a group of nine that will leave the budget department of PhilHealth Coverage

00:10with 30 million four-piece senior citizens and PWD members.

00:16PhilHealth clarified that all Filipinos are automatically members of PhilHealth

00:24and under the Universal Health Care Act of 2019.

00:28Because of that, all of our Filipinos have early access to their health insurance benefits in their accredited health facility

00:37at any time they need.

00:39In addition to the budget, the UHC Law was also removed from the National Health Insurance Act of 1995

00:49that requires a PhilHealth member to pay for several months before the benefit can be availed.

00:57Because of this, Filipinos, especially those in the marginalized and vulnerable sector

01:04who are indirect contributors to the program, can still receive PhilHealth assistance.

01:10PhilHealth called on our fellow Filipinos to continue to be vigilant and alert

01:16against disinformation that can cause confusion and misunderstanding.
